By accessing or using Taklet, including our website, web application, and iOS app (together, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you use Taklet for a company, team, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms on behalf of that organization.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
Taklet is a task, project, workspace, and team coordination product. The Service may include tasks, projects, comments, updates, check-ins, calendars, notifications, team settings, external member invitations, and related collaboration tools.
We may add, change, suspend, or remove features at any time. Some features may be available only on certain platforms or to certain account roles.
Taklet is designed for collaboration. Workspace owners, project managers, or other authorized team members may invite users, manage access, change roles, remove members, and control certain workspace settings. Content you create in a workspace or project may be visible to other authorized members of that workspace or project.
If your access is removed from a workspace, you may lose access to content associated with that workspace, even if you originally created it.
You retain ownership of the tasks, comments, notes, project information, files, links, calendar items, check-ins, status updates, profile information, and other content you submit to Taklet ("User Content").
You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, transmit, display, and back up User Content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the Service and make it available to you and authorized users.
You are responsible for your User Content and for ensuring that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit it to the Service.
You agree not to use the Service to:
Taklet has no tolerance for abusive users or objectionable content. We may remove content, restrict workspace access, suspend accounts, or terminate accounts if we believe content or behavior violates these Terms, creates risk for users, or could harm the Service.
To report objectionable content, abusive behavior, or a safety issue, contact us at team@taklet.com. We review reports and take action when appropriate.
Taklet may send you transactional emails, workspace invitations, account messages, product notices, in-app notifications, browser notifications, and mobile push notifications. You can manage certain notification preferences in the Service or through your device settings.
Some account, security, legal, and service-related notices may still be sent even if you turn off optional notifications.
Taklet may offer free and paid features. If you purchase a paid plan, you agree to pay the fees and taxes shown at checkout or in the applicable order flow. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or stated in writing by us.
If we offer purchases through Apple in the future, those purchases may also be subject to Apple's applicable terms and billing rules.
You may delete your account from inside the iOS app or contact us at team@taklet.com for help. Account deletion is intended to permanently remove your account and personal data, subject to limited retention required for legal, security, fraud prevention, backup, or operational reasons.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, create legal or security risk, or misuse the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately.
Taklet, including its software, design, branding, features, and technology, is owned by Taklet and its licensors. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights in the Service to you. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service unless we give you written permission.
Taklet relies on third-party providers for services such as hosting, authentication, database storage, file storage, email delivery, and push notifications. Your use of Taklet may involve those providers processing data on our behalf so we can operate the Service.
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available at all times. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Taklet and its owners, employees, contractors, suppliers, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and may provide additional notice. Your continued use of Taklet after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
